Toby’s GVTG: The British Sign Language vocabulary hasn’t been broad to encompass terms related to STEM and the environment, previously leaving deaf people struggling to enter scientific conversations, either as students or educators. With the help of sign language experts, the Scottish Sensory Centre has been creating and codifying numerous new signs, focused on STEM subjects.
